DAY 1 - IRELAND / BANGKOK

Depart from Ireland to Amsterdam to connect with China Airlines flight to Bangkok.

DAY 2 - BANGKOK

On arrival in Bangkok, you will be met and transferred to the Amari Watergate Hotel for 2 nights (SUP room type). Day free to enjoy the delights of this exciting city. (NM)

DAY 3 - BANGKOK

Full day at leisure to sample the sights and sounds of bustling Bangkok. Overnight at the Amari Watergate hotel. (B)

DAY 4 - BANGKOK / PHNOM PENH

Transfer to Bangkok airport in time for your Bangkok Airways flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Afternoon, tour of Phnom Penh to include the National Museum, Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Overnight at the Juliana hotel. (NM)

DAY 5 - PHNOM PENH / SIEM REAP

After breakfast, experience an excursion out of the city to the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crime and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek where people were tortured and executed by the Khmer Rouge. Continue on to Phnom Penh airport for your flight north to Siem Reap, the town near the great ruins of Angkor Wat. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa for the next 4 nights with dinner this evening only at the ‘Bayon II’ restaurant. (B, D)

DAY 6 - SIEM REAP

After breakfast, you will experience the first glimpse of the breathtaking complex of temples which form one of the archaeological treasures of the world. Angkor Wat is a vast rambling complex of diverse temple structures, dating from the 9th to the 13th centuries, when they were the heart of the vast Khmer Empire. You will view the sun setting among its ruined spires and spend the day touring the temples until evening, when you take an elephant ride to the top of Bakheng Hill for a view of the ruins at their most poignant. Return to the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa for overnight. (B)

DAY 7 - SIEM REAP

A very early start to watch the sun rise over the ruins. After breakfast set off to enjoy an excursion to Bantey Srei and Phnom Kulen where it is possible to view some of Kulen’s spectacular riverbed rock carvings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to town for a well-earned rest. Return to the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa for overnight. (B, L)

DAY 8 - SIEM REAP

After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour exploring the Roluos Group of Temples including Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong: These monuments mark the beginning of classical art and represent some of the earliest great temples built by the Khmer. Afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on Tonle Sap (Great Lake). Return to the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa for dinner at a local restaurant and overnight. (B, D)

DAY 9 - SIEM REAP / BANGKOK / HUA HIN

This morning is free to relax before you are picked up and transferred to Siem Reap airport for your Bangkok Airways flight to Bangkok. On arrival in Bangkok, transfer by private air-conditioned car to the Dusit Thani Hua Hin for a 5 night stay (STD room type). (B)

DAY 10 - 13 - HUA HIN

4 days at leisure to unwind and soak up the sun. Optional excursions are available locally. Overnight at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin. (B)

DAY 14 - HUA HIN / BANGKOK / IRELAND

Evening, private air-conditioned car transfer to Bangkok airport for your China Airlines flight to Amsterdam. (B)

DAY 15 - IRELAND

On arrival in Amsterdam connect with your onward flight to Ireland.
