Often referred to as the ‘Hawaii of the East’, Hainan island is the undiscovered jewel of the South China Sea. Located just off the South coast of China, to the East of Vietnam, Hainan has a favourable tropical climate with an average temperature of 23°C, attracting visitors from both home and abroad year round. Hainan is China’s first 'Ecological Province', a chance to sample nature at its best, to visit the well-preserved forests, walk amongst the ancient ruins, climb to the top of a mountain for mesmerising views, take a dip in natural hot springs and waterfalls, touch a 5,000 year old tree or just sit back and relax on miles of beautiful pristine beach, Hainan has it all. On the Southernmost tip of the Hainan Province lies the city of Sanya, with its tropical landscape and 209-kilometers of coast line, Sanya boasts the best air quality in China and ranks second in the world, next to Hawaii.
Sanya is famous for its powder beaches, world class golf courses, luxurious hotels and delicious cuisine with mouth-watering seafood. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days following a tour of one of the world’s most captivating countries.
