Havana is a city of vivid contrasts, from the exquisite but faded Spanish architecture, narrow cobbled streets and leafy squares, to the dramatic Revolution Square and famous mural of Che Guevara. Havana is one of the most fascinating cities in the world, the largest city in the Caribbean and a few days stay to absorb the unique atmosphere of this city is recommended.
Dining out, sightseeing and nightlife are what Havana is all about, it is full of lively salsa clubs, vivacious bars, and plenty of live music venues. Please do bear in mind that live bands will expect to receive a tip from you if you are sitting on a patio or a small bar enjoying their music, this is custom and standard and it's how they make a living. Havana enjoys a pleasant year round climate, the wettest months are May and June. May to October, is the hurricane season, but most hurricanes strike between August and October, the average year-round temperature is 24°C - 26°C.
