Trinidad

In the heart of Cuba, founded in 1514 the ancient city of Trinidad is filled with narrow cobbled streets, old Spanish colonial architecture and majestic palaces and plazas. Ranked as one of Cuba's greatest attractions, Trinidad oozes charm. Only a few square blocks in size Trinidad can be toured in just a few hours, by foot or by horse-drawn carriage. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988, Trinidad is a wonderfully charming and relaxing add on to any visit to Cuba.

Our Thoughts

Whilst many of Trinidad's old-town streets are coffin-quiet after dark, there are still several venues to be found with wonderful open-air live Cuban music nightly. We recommend a few days stay in this beautiful city to immerse yourself in the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, explore the nearby sights and soak up some sun on the beautiful nearby beaches.
