The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel is a haven of sophisticated luxury situated on the azure blue Red Sea shore, at the southern end of Hurgada. There are several cocktail bars and lounges to choose from and the resort features a weekly evening programme including belly dancing, African and Oriental folklore shows. The Steigenberger Al Dau Club offers 2 swimming pools with a kids pool, volley ball, table tennis, billiards and an amphitheatre for evening entertainment. The onsite ‘Algotherm Red Sea Thalasso & Spa’ offers treatments based on the curative properties of sea water, sea salt and seaweed through therapeutic baths, massages and mud wraps. The Spa also features a heated salt-water swimming pool, Turkish bath and hamman, sauna and cardio-training room. Watersports include diving, snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours, surfing, water-skiing, banana boat rides and many more aqua fun activities (all at a charge). Other facilities include a small shopping arcade, kids club (4 - 9 years), complimentary shuttle to the hotel’s private beach and an onsite 9 hole par 3 golf course and driving range. All 388 air-conditioned Standard bedrooms and Junior Suites have a private balcony or terrace, sea views, telephone, satellite television, Internet access, minibar, in-room safe and en-suite bathroom with separate tub and shower. Junior Suites are as above, larger and more sumptuous.
