Anahita The Resort
Secluded from the outside world, and nestled on the banks of a sheltering lagoon, Anahita offers the perfect getaway nurturing peace and rejuvenation. Located on the East coast of Mauritius and close to the offshore paradise of Ile aux Cerfs, Anahita is set in 213 hectares of virtually untouched vegetation stretching along six kilometres of uninterrupted shoreline. Anahita has a variety of dining options, from gourmet delights to light refreshments, ‘Origine’ offers Michelin star dining, ‘Sugar’ sells a wonderful range of coffees and pastries, whilst ‘Vu’ is the perfect place to relax with a cold beer or cocktail. Facilities within ‘La Place Belgath’ the central village include 2 infinity edged swimming pools, fitness centre, wellness centre, a professional children’s club ‘OurSpace’ and a separate teens club. There is also open air market stalls featuring fresh fruit and vegetables and local arts & crafts. Other facilities include a dive centre, laser boat sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, pedaloes, water-skiing, kite surfing, deep sea fishing and glass bottom boat rides. There is also an Ernie Els designed 18-hole golf course and Clubhouse available to guests (at a cost). All 70 1-Bedroom Seaview Residences and 1-Bedroom Residence and Spa Suites have been carefully set and oriented to blend harmoniously in the surrounding landscape. Each air-conditioned Residence includes a luxurious bathtub in the master bedroom, a gourmet fully fitted kitchen (this can be stocked prior to arrival), living / dining area, a private terrace with plunge pool, an open-air bathroom with deep soaking tub and exotic outdoor garden shower, television and a DVD player. The 1-Bedroom Residence and Spa Suites are as above, with a separate Spa suite including a massage bed, gym ball and yoga mat. Guests staying in a 1-Bedroom Residence and Spa Suite also receive a 60-minute spa treatment per person per day. Please note 2-Bedroom Residences are available on request. NOTE: 21 Dec 2008 to 06 Jan 2009. 1-Bedroom Residences are not available during this period.
