The newly opened Tamassa located at Bel Ombre, on the island’s south west coast of Mauritius is 45 minutes drive from the airport. It stands at the end of a long avenue of mature coconut palms towering skywards. A picture postcard landscape stretches across sugarcane fields to the mountains beyond. The southwest is the most unspoilt part of Mauritius, with spectacular walks through lush, tropical hillsides and a range of open-air activities in beautiful countryside. The décor is contemporary, with clean lines and bold use of colour. The atmosphere here is quite unique and without doubt, Tamassa is a true Mauritian experience. Facilities include a choice of Restaurants including the main ‘Show’ restaurant which overlooks the main swimming pool and is divided into three, based on the exciting concept of open kitchens and the ‘Playa’ beach restaurant. Other facilities include a choice of swimming pools, a spa with 16 treatment rooms, 2 bars, ‘Jalsa’ night club, ‘Tilapia’ kids & ‘Baz’ teens clubs, fitness room, table tennis and 2 floodlit tennis courts. There is also an 18-hole golf course situated next to the hotel and selected complimentary watersports are available from the beach including windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks, sailing and snorkelling. All 190 strikingly attractive Standard, Superior and Deluxe bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans and have television, telephone, bath/shower, minibar and furnished terrace or balcony with sea views. Superior bedrooms are as above, larger with superior furnishings and fittings and some extra room amenities for your added comfort. Deluxe rooms are as above but larger again, and even more sumptuous.

ALL-INCLUSIVE OPTION: An all-inclusive supplement of €59 per person per night is available at Tamassa which includes:

  • Daily buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the main restaurant.

Prices

Prices start from €1569 per person sharing for 7 nights in a Standard room on a Half Board basis. Price includes flights with Air France via Paris or Air Mauritius via Heathrow and airport transfers. Extra Nights start from €122 per person per night.
