Built in 1904 as the North Quay Warehouse and converted in 1990 to a luxury hotel, it is named in honour of the Queen of England and her son who visited the Cape in 1870, when Prince Alfred officially opened the Breakwater basin, today’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. With Table Mountain as it’s backdrop this stylish hotel is located in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront complex, a stone’s throw from the working port and private quays. It is approximately 20 minutes from Cape Town airport. The completion of an additional 26 luxury bedrooms happened in 2005. Facilities include a fine restaurant overlooking the harbour and provides a fascinating spot to watch daily life go by while the cocktail bar’s minimalist design and décor and glazed walk-in wine cellar afford dramatic views and inviting seating for pre and post dinner drinks. All 94 Courtyardview and Mountainview spacious bedrooms are spread over 3 floors. All are air-conditioned , with television, minibar, bath/shower, tea and coffee facilities. Mountainview room are as above with views of Table Mountain.

Prices

Prices start from €1199 per person sharing for 5 nights in a Courtyard View room on a bed & breakfast basis. Price includes flights with Qatar Airways via Doha and airport transfers. Extra Nights start from €110 per person per night.
