This 300 year-old wine farm really is like a small village, with wine tasting, equestrian centre, very reasonably priced golf and great dining with home-grown produce. You can even meet the Cheetahs at the ‘Outreach Centre’ which does great conservation work. Spier is 25 minutes drive to Cape Town, 7 minutes to Stellenbosch and 15 minutes to Gordon′s Bay beaches. Facilities include a wine centre with wine-tasting facilities, the Spier restaurant, Jonkershuis restaurant, Eagle Encounters, Moyo Restaurant and the Spier Deli and outside deck. Prices start from €1089 per person sharing for 5 nights in a Standard room on a bed & breakfast basis. Price includes flights with Qatar Airways via Doha and airport transfers. Extra Nights start from €74 per person per night.
