Phuket

Silvered sands set in the Andaman Sea, Phuket is an idyll of the Orient for the modern visitor, where creature comforts complement natural wonders. Patong, which is often referred to as a ‘Mini Pattaya’ because of its colourful nightlife and busy beach area, is lively with numerous restaurants, bars, clubs and a visit to the ‘Phuket FantaSea’, the ultimate night-time Cultural Theme Park, is a must where you can experience the show and buffet dinner in festival village surroundings together with shopping opportunities. Alternative bays around the island are less crowded for those seeking more seclusion.

Our Thoughts

Phuket has become more commercialised particularly at busy Patong but there are also some peaceful and idyllic spots, so be sure to choose your hotel carefully. Adverse weather may restrict sea swimming and watersports from May to October.
